Michigan Aerospace Corporation is teamed with NASA Goddard for the Tropospheric Wind Lidar Technology
Experiment (TWiLiTE) project, under which Michigan Aerospace is designing, fabricating and aircraft-qualifying a ruggedized,
tunable Fabry-Perot etalon. Vibration testing of this etalon is in process. During this testing, the etalon will be shown to
not only survive the harsh vibration environment of take-off and landing aboard a tactical aircraft, but also demonstrate
stable, sustained operation during flight. Delivery of this etalon to NASA Goddard will take place in the Spring of 2006.
