Optical Air Data Systems
Michigan Aerospace Corporation has developed a unique Molecular Optical Air Data System (MOADS) for improving the performance
of manned and unmanned aircraft and is a replacement for Pitot tube systems. Products in the domain of airborne wind profilers (ranging systems) are also being developed. Related applications include clear air turbulence, wake vortex, engine unstart, and wind shear.
